A ceramic vase of sculptural form, the visual image of which combines several associative readings. The first association is with a maritime theme: the abstract form with smooth, undulating transitions and the color combination of white and blue evoke the movement of water and sea waves.At the same time, the artist conceived the object as an image of a crumpled sheet of paper—white, matte, as if splattered with ink. The juxtaposition of these different associations reveals the idea of elemental force and chance as forces capable of shaping artistic imagery. The vase exists on the border between controlled form and spontaneity, transforming natural and everyday motifs into a coherent plastic object.
