The Wolf and the Bird

In this work from the "Diversity of Nature" series, I once again turn to the expressive language of folklore, where animals are imbued with developed traits and become bearers of character and destiny. At the center of the composition is a wolf and a bird, frozen in a tense encounter. Their clash is reminiscent of northern fairy tales, where every image is imbued with symbolic meaning.

For me, the wolf embodies the strength, elemental force, and harsh wisdom of the forest, connected to the earth and the ancient laws of nature. The bird, on the other hand, symbolizes space, lightness, and the striving for heights. Their encounter becomes a dialogue between two elements—earth and sky, complexity and flight. I do not offer a definitive resolution to this conflict, but rather provide space for the viewer's observation. Thus continues my exploration of the diversity of nature—its contrasts, internal tension, and the harmony that arises from the interplay of opposites.
