Not the Garden of Eden

The artistic image of this painting refers to the mythological characters of Adam and Eve. In my interpretation, they are not just a man and a woman, they are the embodiment of nature. They are parts of one whole. They are both wood. Adam is a tree with its mighty branches, and Eve's fruits are apples growing on it. But in the picture I am illustrating not a moment of idyll and unification, but a critical moment. When the fruit is ripe and it's time for it to fall from the tree. This moment of the fall of the ripe fruit from the tree personifies the moment of temptation to which Adam and Eve were subjected in the Garden of Eden and from where they were expelled.
